How it all started...
Greater Life Christian Church started as Disciples of Christ Church in June of 1997 with the first official church meeting held on Wednesday, June 4, 1997 . This God given vision was entrusted to Pastor Mark Spell and started as a Bible Study in the living room of Mark and his wife Lillian Spell. The ministry started with 3 members: Lillian Spell, Maurice Batts and Teawana King.
Moving under the instruction of the Spirit of God, Pastor Spell introduced the vision of “Greater Life Christian Church” with the mission of “Changing Lives Through Teaching and Prayer" and sharing the love of Christ through community outreach.

As we continue to grow spiritually and as an organization our desire is to connect people to Christ and to strengthen those who know and love God. All of our Ministries strive to build a community that grows and serves together with a continued focus on seeing souls saved and lives changed.
